"When your hope is gone, you can borrow mine"
Life is not always easy. These days, it is really rough for lot of people. Some problems we face are easily managed by talking to a friend, family member, or pastor. Sometimes, that’s not enough. If we always do, what we’ve always done, we’ll always get, what we’ve always gotten. It’s time to try something else.
I’m stuck! When we realize we’re stuck in the cycle of yuck, we can either continue on as it is, or try something else. When your problems are the kind that need more privacy or help, counseling is a good option. I am available virtually and want to help especially during this difficult time in our world.
Dr. Karla Austin can help. I am a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Christian, wife and mother. I have been helping people with problems from small to super-sized, for over thirty years. I believe in marriage and enjoy teens and children. I have helped couples, children, teens, and individual adults to find more peace, amid the storms of life.
Solution focused therapy, or short-term therapy is my usual style, looking mostly at the here and now. Whether it is relationship problems, a marriage in crisis, problems raising your children, teens out of control, or problems dealing with difficult emotions, I can help.
